Q: Why do I get the error message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"?

A: There is a display error that some Windows users have experienced, especially after a certain recent software update, in which they are presented with an error screen that reads "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

To resolve this issue, there are some simple steps you can take:

  1. In Windows, go to Control Panel > Network & Internet > Internet Options > Advanced >
  2. Scroll down the long list 'til you find "Security Settings" and UNCHECK the following 3 boxes:

    • Check for publisher's certificate revocations
    • Check for server certificate revocations
    • Enable integrated Windows authentication
  3. Save if asked to do so; then close out of the Control Panel window.

A: Follow these steps:

  1. Click the "Tools" menu bar.
  2. Choose "Internet Options".
  3. On the "General" tab, click "Clear History".
  4. When it asks "Delete all items in your History folder?", click "OK".

  6. Refresh your browser view to see updated page.
